Stephen’s journey as an author is a testament to passion and resilience, shaped by experiences across three countries. Born in the historic city of Lincoln, UK, Stephen’s early fascination with storytelling began on a humble toy typewriter, where he crafted a family newsletter. His dedication to helping others led him to serve as a Paramedic with the Lincolnshire Ambulance Service, where he also honed his writing by writing articles for Linc Up in-house magazine.

In 2000, Stephen made a bold leap, immigrating to New Zealand and embracing a new identity as a citizen. His adventurous spirit didn’t stop there—he later settled in, Queensland, Australia, becoming the backdrop for his literary career.

After retiring in 2016 due to health issues, Stephen transformed a moment of adversity into an opportunity, dedicating himself to fiction. Ideas that had simmered since his arrival in Brisbane blossomed into captivating novels.
